Planning a road trip to Kalispell, MT in June. With 3 kids. Any recommendations for stops along the way?

I’ll be there the end of June next year as well.

I work for the International 180/185 Club and that's where their convention will be hosted. Are you going just for fun?

See Glacier National Park while there
        Flathead lake
        Yellowstone

See if a rodeo in Cody or Cheyenne Wyoming while driving through (course depends on the route you take)

I typically went up interstates (Oklahoma, Kansas to Denver to Cheyenne and up) because I could drive a lot faster and avoid speed traps through texas panhandle and new mexico.

I would drive as fast as I could and spend as much time in the Kallispell/Whitefish area driving around

Going for our honeymoon. We’re making a road trip up to Glacier National Park in Kalispell, Banff National Park in Alberta, back down to Yellowstone then the Tetons, then back home.

Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, and Glacier, of course. Yellowstone will be crowded!
If you take the east route instead - Colorado Springs and Sheridan, Wyo are nice. Custer's Battlefield at Little Big Horn just south of Crow Agency, Mt.

Beautiful area. I've driven through but haven't stopped to explore yet. I'm planning on taking a few extra days on one of my Montana trips this year to spend some time around there.
