Sorry, somehow I missed the last several posts...I'm definitely in and will contact my brother and cousin tomorrow if the outfitter has space. Also, I have an extra bedroom and basement with 3 comfortable sofas at the house if anyone wants to save some money for lodging. Just a 30 minute drive to Brownfield. We've got plenty of space here.

Ok, so it looks like we have Don Pablo, his brother, Tkuehn, Zookeeper, Myself and one other buddy. Looking like a fun time.

I realized I wrote the check, but didn't send it in...want to make sure I can go on the hunt, and also would like to do the lodge Saturday night as well if possible.

Cheaper than hunting in Lubbock! I'm even gonna bring my kid.

Not to side track Pablo and I have meant to ask you. Does Ray run hunts on what use to be the old golf course there? I had a guy in Brownfield work on my bow a few yrs ago and it sure sounds like him. Heck of a bow tech btw.

I think he worked full time for the State in the hwy department.

I believe this is the guy! Real nice person, and very personable.

Unfortunately, the goose hunt turned into a crane hunt, which we knew beforehand, but was a bust. 9 hunters and 3 cranes. Our spread consisted of 16 Sillosock Sandhill crane decoys. I was excited when I met some TBHers this morning, and thought the guide was setting up the spread and blind, but realized there was no spread upon reaching the field.

I did have a good time and appreciate meeting a few new tbher's but I also need to apologize for blowing my gasket and leaving when we left the field. I hope there are no hard feelings...I am truly sorry. I am certain I offended some of you when I left, but I have hunted with several outfitters around Lubbock, and even have my own decoys, and was really upset when I saw that we had 16 decoys for 9 hunters...basically 1 decoy per hunter???? Crazy!. I hunted with Crooked wings for crane last year and we had around 200 decoys for 4 hunters, and some of them were socks, silhouettes and full bodies.

I've heard that a dozen of the deception full body cranes (around 1k) produce more than a full spread of socks, and may try and buy some next year for my setup. I've had bad goose trips, and duck hunts, but this hunt hits my memory button.
