We leave Sat morning for Gulf shores... gonna be a good fun experience.. and the boys certainly have an opportunity to pull it off if they bring their game...
Look forward to making memories with the pin trading, opening ceremonies etc..

Plus theres a beach and fishing...

Greatness - we will be on our way as well. We may leave Friday after work and stay in NO so we can grab some food on the way.

I have been roped in by an overly social better half, but should have some time to fish with a Asst. Coach who is bringing gear.

In hilarious news, I have a roof rack and no cross rails. Bought the topper without even checking. Good luck trying to find cross rails in less than 2 days, lol.

I too am under the pressures of what the social butterfly will want to do between games..(with the exception of the fishing trip..thats me and a couple of the other dad's escape)..

Was going to borrow my parents minivan for the trip as we are taking my daughter and her freind as well... but just couldnt make myself feel ok with it.. so its the truck with a new tonneau cover

Well last tournament of the year!!! Heading out to Destin for our World Series drew the number one seed right off the bat LOL! We will give them a run for it though. Hope you guys have fun in Bama Gulf Shores, we played there a few times and really enjoyed it. Go to the Hangout and walk the beach close to dark and look for the sea turtles its pretty cool to watch, but don't touch. Good Luck and safe travels.

My kid is in Indy right now and they are playing one more. It round robin play and tey have one more. Been a rough trip. They have won one- lost one- and tied two games so far. my kid threw and gave up a 2 run bomb that he said was a left field bomb that went 375. I think he is about to grab the bump again for a few innings as he only threw 60 pitches Thursday.

Well we just home from Big League Dreams in Mansfield. Son’s team is playing in the Gene Campbell NIT there this weekend. They went 1-1. Should have won both but oh well

Playing the USSSA Fathers Day Bash at Riverbend Park in Waco (9u). Saturday was atrocious. I won't get into details, but we seeded last. First game of the day, Sunday, we play the 2nd seed. My son is on the bump. I'm probably more nervous than he is. I don't know if it's the beer from the night before, or all the coffee at breakfast. I was queasy! He shuts'em down, only allows one run the entire game. Defense finally showed up today to have his back. Snipers beat Premier 4-1 to advance.
