I just had time to actually sit down and read the December 2008 issue of Deer & Deer Hunting.
There is a section called "25 thing you probably didn't know about deer"
The #2 thing is that they mention there is 30 subspecies of white-tailed deer, and they are found from central Canada, to northern South America.
Would anyone across the TBH brainpool know the 30 various names and/or have pictures of them? The more I thought about it, this would actully make a pretty good book that I would definately by if it listed charactheristics/photos of each of the 30.
Definately would be a heck of a trophy room as well to have ALL 30 subspecies of white tail mounts.
