Flathead is an op. aka, yellow cat

Ops don't have "sticker fins" like a blue or channel.

As far as the "high/hi fin blue" debate, folks call them high-fins because by looking at their profile, their back has a slight outward "bow" to it making the dorsal fin to appear higher than other cats. Folks started calling them "high fins" As this is the only catfish with this style dorsal fin (or profile), folks started calling them 'high-fin blues" to distinguish it was a blue cat. Kinda like calling a water heater a "hot water heater".

When I was a kid we would fish the red river a lot, we called blue cats white cats, they would be really white in color coming out of the river.
