I love that life has kept me out of the blind until last night. Had to get to work on the MLD tags. Friday night, 1.5yo doe stood still too long. This morning a 5yo cull hit the dirt. He really threw me off in person. Body was smaller than two other younger bucks but I knew I had three years worth of pics to back up his lack of tine length. He stunk like the rut and ended up weighing 130lb dressed which is above average for our place. .260 Alamo Precision build does the trick.
