A pristine, environmentally sensitive marshland on the slough in SF Bay where we sat and pass-shot birds.



Here's the decoy spread we made. Figured if there were thousands of discarded balls amongst all the garbage that had made it to SF bay and washed-up at the high water area, why not put them on the levee? 5 minutes after we were done we have some bluebills dive in on us, for the only dead duck of the day.

BOWNANZA is in March at Austin Colony Park in B/CS. Usually there is a block of rooms reserved at the La Quinta Inn and the parking lot Fri. and Sat. nights is a hoot!! What I remember of it...
