Another poacher thread

Wife just sent me a picture off Facebook saying this deer was poached off a ranch between lampasas and burnet. They are offering a $2500.00 reward for info leading to the arrest. Pretty crappy what some people will do, hell of a deer.

Awful dang gutsy to hunt someone else's land. Poacher may be armed, but I'm betting so are 98% of the landowners. I'm honestly shocked we don't read about poachers/trespassers being shot

I showed Robert up at Griffiths Taxidermy in Burnet, but we said the same thing. Someone kills a deer that big they know they are going to have to keep on the DL.

Leave a picture with him, somebody dropping a deer off will have seen that! Btw, I love Robert and his family, worked there while in high school. Best jalapeno and cheese sausage in the state!

My guess is scum like this run together and have no problems showing off what they poached.

I've told everyone I know that lives or hunts around here. We'll find this one out! Its too close to my place, I want someone caught!
