Alright you heathens, here is the update. I got him as close as I could to the trail. But he’s still a long long long long ways with several ravines and draws to cross. Left him and came to the truck. Getting the working tools to break this guy down and pack his arse out! Also, fired up the pocket rocket stove and made me some dinner. Haven’t eaten all day so I hit a dam wall. Gotta get the energy back. Guess you guys want a photo huh....

Congratulations and spend a little on the harness. I never wore one, and did not liek the thought of them until a couple seasons back. now I am comfortable in it and won't get on a tree stand with it. The cost will be worth it to her. Trust Me.

Good job, you harvested the only buck in Grayson County. You owe it to your family and friends to get a harness. If it's $50 and you only hunt 5 times your life is worth $10/hunt. If you haven't taken bowhunter safety course I would suggest doing that as well. Again great job!
