Out with the old, in with the new

I had an old stand that was over run with critters and rot so me, brokeno, mlank and txag got to work.

First we pulled it over with the mule.



Then stood up a new 8x8 base. Go big or go home right?



Then stood the walls up







Tyler at Deerview came in big time and got me 7 windows and a door in a very short timeframe to make it work. They got installed and really pimped out the blind.



Then I got set up to hunt



A big ol' pig walked out



Boom! First kill with the APR was in the books.

Nice work.

I did the same a couple weeks ago. Had a guest leave a window open last Feb. and owls roosted in my stand all summer. Drug it off in Sept. and if the wind is right I can still smell the stench. Wife shot her first pig out of the new blind last week.
