Need help! I put diesel in my sxs.

I put a can of hurricane Harvey "gas" in my buggy. It ended up being diesel, my memory wasn't too good I guess. And I ran it until it died. I have drained the tank, but what else should I Do? New plugs? Fuel filter? Run anything special in the next tank? It was half full when I put 5 gallons of diesel in it so it is currently a 50/50 mix.

Try to drain fuel bowl and tank new plugs and run the **** outa it, itll smoke a little bit till it clears out everything

I did thst last month to my landowners ranger. He put diesel in my Red 5 fallon tank. Smoked like hail until that 5 gallons was gone. He did nada but add gas when it could take some. I did offer to pay for any repairs.

Keep it and take it to deer lease for fire starter,

Take it to camp and start fires

Fire starter as others have said or spray fencelines with it

I didn't the same with my four wheeler 7 years ago. Flipped it over in the road and dumped it out. Filled with gas and had trouble starting it the first time. Once it fired up it was golden.

Here in Fort Bend county the recycle center will take it. You have to pay like a dollar a gallon. I have taken old gasoline there. Maybe check with your county recycle center. That or find someone with a large burn pile of trees and ask if they want it.
