    Soybean and corn?

I've seen several posts of guys using soybeans and corn mixed. I can not find this I've called 8 different feed stores. Where are you getting it several dealers said if I got them a manufactor name they would try to get it. Whats it costing you?

Tony, we used some of that at BAO a couple of years ago and thought it was a waste of money. Deer ate the corn and left the soybeans laying on the ground until they rotted. Even the turkeys didn't eat it. I can't think brand name at the moment but I won't be buying it again.

I fed straight soybean in a broadcast feeder for three months during the summer. The deer seemed to like it.

There's an outfit in Danbury that has it. I have the info at the office. I'll try to remember to post it tomorrow morning.

          Coop:

Where do you hunt? If you're coming my way, I'll shoot you directions. I'm only about 1/4 mile off of the Interstate.

I've got a feed store in Waco and I sell a product called Stampede. Corn and ROASTED soybeans. I sell alot of it and have used it in Mexico. The deer clean up the stuff!

I think Livengood feeds makes a corn soybean mix. One feller on our lease feeds it attwo feeders and he normally sees more deer than anyone else.

                  I just bought several bags..

at the Ace Hardware in Hewitt. They were @ $14 per 50 lb. bag. The deer and turkeys seem to like it and the coons do too!

Horn Corn - that was the name of the stuff. Corn and roasted soybeans. It was expensive and our critters didn't care for it.

Soybeans have been way to expensive for me to feed. 14 per sack is about 3.50 for 25 lbs of corn and 10.50 for 25 lbs of Soybean. If I wanted something to feed from a slinger to up my nutrition level, I'd go with the Sure Fed Spin cast pellets. My deer loved them and they were similar in price to protein pellets per 50. I just wish i could find it in San Angelo.
