Ideas of Things to Do in Waco

So I have family in from out of state and they want to spend a day or two in Waco. They are going to visit Magnolia farms (?)... and what else is there to do?

    Thanks.

Get there, then leave and go do something somewhere else.

If they like the whole Magnolia and fixer upper thing then head north west of town on Highway 6 and show them where Chip and Joanna live (across from Baylor Camp Road and 6 meet). There is also a guy that has a tour bus and takes you to see a whole lot of the fixer upper homes. Around the corner from the Silos is a little area of shops called Spice that the women tend to love. The Central Texas Marketplace is an outdoor mall/shop area that is popular too. That is on the corner of highway 6 and I35. There is a Cabela’s there too so you can browse or use their bow range while the women are shopping.

Cameron Park too. It's got that steep 100 step Jacobs Ladder, a really pretty cliff view of the river, supposed to be haunted too

You just showed the entire exhibit in one picture! Yes, it is cool but the exhibit is only one building and this one picture shows about 75% of the entire thing.

Yeah, Cameron park is a really nice park, the zoo there is surprisingly good.

Baylor has published a book on what not to do, if that helps.
