last season it was closer to 82% success for a tag. If you don't draw an either sex tag you can't even get a doe tag. You simply can not hunt.
Between the crossgun inclusion 4 years ago, the TV hunting shows from KS and threads on forums like these claiming Giant KS bucks behind every tree the tag situation continues to get worse each year.
It's a great place to hunt but if your not a resident, there is risk involved in getting a tag. Some folks like myself are willing to take that risk. Some are not.
Things have changed a lot in the 12 years that I've been hunting there. The hunting pressure has gone from minimal to over run with hunters in just a few short years
