Back in September my older son, who for the remainder of this post I will refer to as “Genius”, broke his left wrist doing...no wait, attempting...a trick off a bicycle. He missed fall lacrosse due to that little stunt. We got him patched up and he was back in action a few weeks later. Genius has been shooting his bow daily getting ready for his big opportunity this weekend. We have his bow dialed in perfectly at the 18yds he should have a shot at. He’s shot out of the pop up for practice and is dead on. Good activity at the spot, so there’s a high probability of success. Well, he HAD a good chance for success until yesterday when he broke his right wrist showing his cousin the same **** trick he attempted when he broke his left wrist. So not only did Genius miss fall lacrosse and now probably his entire hunting season, but he will also miss tryouts for spring lacrosse.
I have high hopes that the “hold my beer and watch this ****” gene did not get passed to his younger brother.
