The day after Christmas me my girlfriend and her 6 year old daughter are going to Fredericksburg for 5 days. Going to hike the enchanted rock and they will run around on the town. My question is one of those days I am wanting to make a day hunt on somewhere in that area. Just a morning and evening bow hunt does anybody know of any places in the area? I’d be ok with just shooting a WT doe or Buck or Axis die or Buck. I haven’t got to do any hunting this year due to working so much. If anyone knows of anything let me know if honestly be ok with not even shooting something I just want to sit in the stand. Haha

Man, there are so many friggin' deer in Gillespie and Llano Counties, if you know anyone in the area with land, they're gonna have does to take.

Chalk creek exotics is an hour away and reasonable. Hunted with don Koenig in Bandera before too. He's an ibex farmer that used to charge $100 a point for bucks. Been a while though. Not sure if he does that anymore or not.

Call Berry at BB Hunts- 830-456-1481. He is a local guy that can hook you up on a day hunt. Wife and I have both done a BB hunt with him. Good prices and good person too.
