I had that setup on a 12’ Atascosa with the ground anchor actually set in 4’ of concrete. Worked great until Harvey. The concrete plug actually pulled out of the ground when the stand went over!

I cabled my buddies to t post driven in at an angle and a good wind slipped the cables right off.

Tposts and wire on all four legs and a mobile home anchor from TSC in the middle. I’ve got two I bolts on the inside of the base with some thick cable holding it down. I’ve got two stands , one 8 footer and one 10 footer using this method and never had a problem.

None of mine went over but my place is 100 miles from the coast. I never considered it to be hurticane proof. I used the anchor that screws in like 4’ it seemed at the time. Where is your place at?

We are in McFaddin, between Victoria and Refugio. The eye passed pretty much straight over us. Took out five stands and the equipment barn. All the shorter and most of the taller stands survived, although with a few dents, some bent up stairs and a few missing windows. Mine pretty much turned into a pancake.

I use the posts. I place them 5-7' off of each corner of the blind. Posts are driven into the ground angled away from the blind. Then, I attach the blind to each of the 4 the posts with a cable and turn buckle to pull the cable tight.

8"x4' hole via the 3pt post hole digger. Rebar anchor and a couple bags of quikcrete. They haven't budged.

T- post and wire for me and we have never had an issue.

Screw in anchor set under middle of blind with braided cable wire coming from each post. This works for shorter blinds. Taller ones I will wire off to trees or screw in anchors.
