Dog needed 14 miles SW of Mertzon

Off 67 and cr 131.
Wife made what I thought was a good shot on a good cull. Deer was hit with a 243 power shock 100yds.
Deer took off looked like struggling to run like a good shoulder hit.

Blood started about 10yrds in and was spotty. Got much better and then dried up and lost it. Towards end of trail started finding clots. Made it about 100yrds in then backed out.
