    Roper boots?

Anyone still wear the plain ol style roper boots like George Strait made famous many years ago? No frills, round toe, brown or black?

My dad has a pair of brown ones. Doesn’t wear them much anymore since he has other pairs

Hey the squaretoe is just natural progression. When I was a kid my dad wore the cockroach killers, so pointed they cramped your toes but thats what he wore so as kid thats what he bought me to wear. The 1st pair of boots I bought on my own in my late teens were black Justin ropers and man they felt good. Now I wear nothing but squaretoes. My toes are still thanking me!

I wore square toes when I was a kid. I’m 49 now. Things always seem to come back around.

Saddle Bronc riders wore square toes back in the 70's, a lot of people wore the ropers then too, long before George made the famous.

My wife and I still wear them, roping, training and working cattle.
Didn't know that Strait made them popular though. We were married in 83 wearing ours.

Ropers are about as far as can go when it comes to cowboy gear.

I wore ropers in high school, but then again I also had a mullet.
Some changes are for the better. Just sayin...
