What are some of the top places to eat in San Angelo? I usually grab fast food but I should have more time in the future. Thanks in advance for the suggestions

I really like Hidalgo’s as a good West Texas Mexican food place. There are several locations, but one is right across from Palmer Feed, so I rarely go anywhere else.

I have heard Zentner’s Daughter and Western Sky are good also, but never been to either.

I was down there for work this week and we ate at some awesome spots. Twisted Root, Angry Cactus, Concho Pearl, Cork and Pig, Zero One Ale House, Armentes. All really good.

Best Mexican in Angelo is Paisanos on chadbourne st. Ask Luke he will agree and you have to get the steak Monterrey.

Armentas for Mexican. Western skies for steak and Mexican. I believe the owners own both western skies and Franco’s. . Ichiban for Japanese steak house. Pretty much all of what’s been said is good.
