    Trophy cooler

I have a buddy that shot a deer in Kansas and is wanting one of those trophy coolers to keep the head in until he can get back to Texas. Does cabelas or bass pro sell them?

Buy an igloo, rip the lid off(cause it’ll come off at some point anyway), drop the head/cape in, and pack it full of ice. Might throw a towel on it for added insulation if it’s sunny.

Do you have a link to it on their website?

get a big Styrofoam cooler and you can cut slots for the antlers to stick out. pack with ice and dry ice. Just don't let the cape get wet.

Pretty sure that Foreverlast makes one that's available through a site sponsor, Brush to Bay.

                      They don't sell them anymore.

A styrofoam cooler works perfectly. Cut slits in the lid just big enough to slide the lid on after the head is in the cooler and ice packed around it. Then Duct tape over the slits

I'd tell him to go the styrofoam cooler route ... he should be able to find one at any gas station (at least you can in Texas).

                          Now the bigger question!

Why haven't you taught him how to cape the head?

I showed him how. He is afraid to mess it up lol

This. We did this once and it held ice better than our $80 cape saver does.
