Snake ID needed

Please tell me this wasn’t a baby copperhead. It doesn’t appear to be venomous based on the head, but I’m no expert. I have a king snake that resides in my yard, so I’m hopeful he’s on duty and keeping the bad stuff.

Baby copperhead has a yellow neon colored tipped tail. Same with a cottonmouth. Also, juvenile copperheads look like a copperhead, cuz same markings.

That’s a Dekay’s brown snake. Harmless slug eater.
