    Why 2" vanes?

Are there any advantages in me shooting 2" plastic vanes vs. 4" vanes? I use 100 gr. steel force phat heads and don't have a problem with arrow flight. Is there any advantage to having my arrows refletched w/ 2" or does it just look cool? Can the 2" vanes be fletched helically or just straight? Pro's or Con's anybody.

If you mean the 2" like the Blazers, I say do it.

My arrows are alot quieter and I get better groups with them. I fletch them with a 1* offset. That and they do look cool, but only over one of Cameron's custom wraps.

It may just be me...but, I feel like when my arrows leave my bow through my Whisker Biscuit rest with Blazers, it's actually louder than with 4" Duravanes. See disclaimer below. And yes, I have seen a fletching jig that will do helical on Blazers.
