      Sitting up high on front hooves, neck even tho thick meets high on brisket, tight back and stomach line, hocks not overly dark especially for this time of yr, looks long and lean, no sagging skin under jaw, skin looks tight and slick at shoulders, has a qtr horse look to him.
      Great buck especially for a 4.5

          I think he's 4 as well. very pretty deer, and I think you're right that he's up there around 160.

          lots to consider. He's a great deer, he'll probably get bigger, but maybe he won't. maybe he'll get run down and die during the rut, or get hit by a car... if he's your biggest

          I watched a deer real similar to this one from the time he was 2 until he was shot at 6, and he never varied more than 20". He was 145 at 2, 153 at 3, 160's at 4, and stayed right around there at 5 and 6.
