I've encountered a problem of some kind with the A/C on my camper. Luckily, I'm not needing it for a while (I hope), so it isn't urgent.
Anyway, last time I was at the lease (the weekend prior to opening for rifle season), I used the A/C. Then I turned it OFF when I left, but left power ON to the camper for the fridge to keep running.
Well, the guys that hunted opening weekend, noticed my A/C 'humming' and couldn't get it to shut off, so they unplugged my camper. (Luckily, nothing spoiled in the fridge.) I assume it was 'humming' all week between my leaving and the others arriving.
So, this past weekend, they tell me about it and when I plug in the camper, the A/C starts humming (the compressor, I guess). The fan is NOT running. The A/C is turned OFF at the control.
The only way to stop the humming is to turn off the breaker for the A/C.
Any thoughts on what to do or what is causing it?

Thanks.
