If you like a loose fit I would go large. The size is pretty true but they are what I would call a slim or tapered fit towards the bottom and they don't stretch or flex much.
Just depends if you like a loose fit or a true fit.
I am a 3xlt fit guy and the 3xl fits me but it def has a "slimming" fit to it. For dress I like it but for hunting I would find it to tight especially if I was layering clothes.

I can't wait to wear mine without an undershirt paired with some wrangler cutoffs, a RedMan Chew ball cap and some work boots. I intend to represent TBH well.

I would go with the lonestar feed hat to class it up a little bit.
