    Another Chevy question

My lights won’t go off if truck is running. Any ideas? Heres a pic of how it works.

I'd bet you have a problem with the sensor that turns them on at dusk. It might be covered up, very dirty, or faulty. That's my guess if all of your lights are on

Which lights? If head lights turn the nob to the left. They should go off.

          ^^^check this^^^

It's on the dash-board almost directly under the mirror (on my 2002) and looks almost like little round "knob"...

Daytime Running Lights, push the parking brake ever so slightly and they will go off.

Push the dome override 3-4 times rapidly and that will turn off your day runners.

This, had the same on my 02 and it's how I turned them off.

Interesting question. I’ve never paid attention to whether my lights are on during the day, but at night mine won’t turn off, even with the knob turned to the left either. I never looked into it because I really dont need to turn them off. Curious to see if you get it fixed.

Yep. Bump the dome override 3 times in a row.

Never knew this. Don't in the truck now, but wanted to turn off the lights when pulling up to my hunting spot

Yeppers. Mine is a 2002 and do this when pig hunting. Its quiet and I can black out easily. I tried when I had my 2013 F250.....fail....lights blinking everywhere, all kind of annoying chimes etc. Drove me nuts. Sold it and kept the '02!
