Uggghh, I’m loading up the Mule on the trailer and getting the truck loaded and am sweating like it’s August outside. If all the lease mates hadn’t already committed to going this weekend I’d probably unpack and enjoy the AC this weekend. Sure doesn’t feel like November out there.

Watched a 4.5 yr old 8pt on a doe this morning at 9:00am. He didn't care. Buddy killed a nice 10pt at 8:30. They will still be moving. Tomorrow should be cloudy!

I'm already here and hunting. Opening day of general tomorrow, so this last afternoon of archery could be when the neighbors jump their bucks and they all come by me. What's the emoji for Dr. Evil pinky smile?

Besides... if I get skunked this weekend from full moon and death valley conditions.. I can get away again another weekend... wife knows tags and freezer have to be filled... it's not a passion, it's an obsession!

62 and muggy/drizzly this afternoon. I might go out in a minute but it doesn’t look promising. Definitely not good weather. This is usually one of the best weekends of the year for movement up here. It’s going to be 76 freakin degrees tomorrow and it’s November.

Good luck man, we hit it just right for our opener in North La last weekend. Was 34 Sat am and 32 Sun. Football this weekend and heading back to the farm on Wednesday.
