Hit by a lady driving a pickup between Water Valley and Robert Lee. I got a phone call from a buddy who lives near Robert Lee yesterday and he told me that a hunter called him and reported shooting a lion about 15 miles from where this lion was killed. My buddy investigated the scene and said that there was blood a couple of different places and they were able to trail a short distance. I got the call because they were wanting me to bring my hounds up there and see if I could find it. Unfortunately, by the time I got out of church and got a call back from my friend it was mid afternoon and 90 degrees. I told them that I would bring the dogs up early this morning and try to find it but the hunters said that they were going to deer hunt.
The hunters claimed to have trail cam photos of a sow and two kittens.
