Hagerman Question

I wish it wasn't in Grayson county. "Hagerman" is driving the prices of land and leases up so much, just because of it. Yes, there are some monsters in there, but it gives people an unreasonable expectation of Grayson county in general.

Not trying to start any crap but what is the big deal about hunting at Hagerman? I see tons of posts every year about people trying to draw and hunt up there but don't see pictures of anyone having any success.

Do the folks that try to draw and hunt up there not have good deer leases or are there a bunch of big bucks being killed up there that are double top secret and can't be talked about?

Question wasn’t regarding whether or not big deer get people excited. Just wondering if people actually have any success up there or are just a couple big deer seen every year and that gets people worked up.

I have no plans to apply so if they are running around all over up there I hope ya’ll kill a butt of them.

I don't get it either. I've hunted it a few times and never seen one of the giants that are supposed to be behind every tree. Not to mention it's a very tough hunt physically and mentally that requires taking two days off work just for the hunt.
