    Thoughts on stand options

So I put in my plots 2 weeks ago, and plan to hunt them during rifle season starting this weekend. Unfortunately, my tractor broke down before I could move my box blinds to the plots. My options are...

    1. Move the box blinds with a trailer and a couple extra sets of hands Saturday morning, and then hunt one of them Saturday evening.

    2. Put up a pop-up blind Saturday morning, hunt Saturday evening.

    3. Just pull together a make-shift brush blind when I go to hunt on Saturday.

What would you do? Additional options welcome.

Hunt from a tree with my bow as high as you can climb.

Since you haven't moved your blinds yet, I'd go with option 2 or 3. That way you can see what the deer patterns are for the plots and position your box blinds in an optimal spot later on.

Pop-up blind. They go up so easy and quick I wouldn't hesitate to pop one up and brush it in a little

Brush in a pop up blind. Deer won’t pay it much attention if it’s brushed in well.

Trees around these plots are only about 15-18 years old, so not quite big enough to hunt out of unfortunately. At least in the area I'd want to put a stand. Good thought though.

Pop up blind it is then! Anybody have a good recommendation for one to get? I've never hunted out of one.

Brush blind in a shady spot. It'll be fast and unobtrusive. See what's moving and where then set up your stands before you leave. What part of Hunt Co are you in?

grab a chair and hand saw, build a brush blind and get after them
