I say more than 20. I shot an 18" wide buck saturday that was not even close to that one. But I do agree they can be deceiving from certain angles.

Pics from behind are difficult to judge from. They always look really good walking away, lol. I would say that deer is 17-20 inches wide, but hard to really tell

I've killed an 18" wide and my dad killed one 20" and I'd say that buck is wider than both. I'm going with 22".
