Good luck, there is lots of job openings right now. Unfortunately the labor pool in south Texas is getting slim. The frac companies are having job fairs in Laredo and in the valley trying to lure guys up here.
I am also seeing a cutback in overtime and some house cleaning in some of the bigger companies. There have been a few layoffs but getting someone to go to west Texas is tough.
I have never figured out why a guy gets a job as a mechanic with starting pay at 22-25 dollars an hour with unlimited overtime and cant come to work on time or even show up. Bad attitudes, lazy or doing dope seem to be the other reasons as well.
P.M. me your company name and contact info, I will pass the word around for you. I do business with the majority of the frac companies in Pleasanton area.

Ain't that the truth we have some better guys here than the previous company I was at. We aren't putting up with lazy people at this company we are gonna bring it back to the old ways. It's hard to find faithful workers in west tx. But the pay here is good. Hopefully we can keep some guys with it. Pm inbound

4 years hauling. Fresh water, brine water, drill mud, and flowback. The downside to going back west is potentially getting laid off in 4 months
