Covert Camera Help

Have a covert camera out that is not sending me pictures.

I have searched, with no luck, for directions on how to test camera from my cell phone.

Can anyone post a link or post directions on how to send test picture.

I glanced through online manual as well.

Nice recently did the same as well. Full battery power, I had a friend restart, no luck

to test it: select a picture, then on the bottom right hit "Real-time photo"

If you recently adjusted the setting to off or not send pictures I think you will need an animal to activate it to wake it back up. At least that what happened with mine.

I had problems with one of mine doing that and I sent it back to covert and they fixed it for nothing. Have no idea what the problem was but it works now

My BIL had the same problem. Figured out that even though it said it had 2 bars of signal it would never send pictures. We added a power booster antenna and now it works like a charm.

2014 black ops.
No app.
I texted it to send me a picture. Not hopeful.

Set it out yesterday. Test picture worked, but then had to attach solar panel and take off antenna for a few minutes.

Not the news you want to hear but here goes...

If possible, do the firmware update to be able to use the app. You may be out of luck on that. I know the 2015 models work with the app but not sure on the 2014 models. Contact Covert support via chat at the link below and they can tell you.

Benefits of the app:

Well let me backup, first I need to say I believe it's only available if you have an iPhone or Android.

Benefits:

- Real Time control of the camera with a user friendly interface
- Having real time control allows you to do a few self diagnostic steps when you aren't getting pics. At least 50% of the time you can clear the problem and get it to start sending pics again. (You may be able to do some of these things without the app but you it requires reading the manual and/or knowing what commands to send. Who has time to do that during the rut?)
- For 2017 and newer cameras, can request HD pics

Yes it's a 2016 camera I believe the app is the only way to run the new cams

I had a cpl of 2012 Code blacks that stopped working and it was because they were only
2g instead of 3g. ATT shut down their 2g
I don't have a clue what 2014 cameras are
