What is the best insert glue?

I've used epoxy and cyanoacrylates, and had inserts pull out with both kinds. Mind you, I prep the inside of my shafts with alcohol prior to gluing. Is there something superior out there?

What brand CA glue are you using? I have always had great success with loctite. Only way one will come out is if I bury an arrow into a wood target frame or tree. Takes a lot of force, typically rotational, to get the arrows out then and it will cause the bond to fail.

Use denatured alcohol to clean the arrow and the insert. Loctite gel will work. I also like AAE Fastest fetching glue and Easton Insert glue. All are "super" glues with quick set and cure times

I use Bohning Insert Iron and have never had one come out. The only downside is you need to let it cure overnight - it dries much slower that Loctite but it is dang sure permanent in my experience.

I like JB-KWIK. It bonds well to the carbon/aluminum combination and if you need to remove the insert a little heat applied to the insert with a soldering gun, it will pop out without damaging the carbon shaft... The Loctite CA gel works good for me as well.

I hope I don't jinx myself, but I've had great success with G5 blue glue. That stuff just won't let go. Now, this means that once it is in there, it ain't coming out.

Insert Iron stuck some inserts in arrows that I could not get to stick otherwise.
