    Discussion Forum Guidelines

    5. Do not use the forum for unapproved advertisement or spam. Solicitation directly in a post, with your username/avatar, within your signature, or even within your profile to a business or another discussion forum is not appropriate especially if it conflicts with TexasBowhunter.com’s paying sponsors. If you have a situation that you feel is appropriate and does not conflict with TBH sponsors, then get approval from Michael before posting. This also pertains to group hunts if you are an agent for a non-sponsoring ranch or receiving a discounted rate or other benefit from booking hunters to a non-sponsoring ranch off of this discussion forum it is neither appropriate nor respectful of Michael and his paying sponsors.

    ...just reminding.

Rip off??? How so? That's a pretty strong statement.

How can it be a rip off when it is simply a list of leases that are available??? They can't create deer leases, only list what lessors post.

I have used DeerTexas.com in the past, and I'm using it now.

I subscribed to some in the past when I was looking and instead found my current one of 5 years just doing Google Searches. I was relentless and did it 2-3 times a day because if it is a good lease, it will be gone before you can get there.

5 years ago when I was looking, I kept missing leases that I knew had just been posted a few hours before so I finally asked one of the guys how could it already be gone. He told me had leased it to a group sight unseen. I was speechless but I guess it happens.

I personally will take the time to go look at the place, meet the owners (very important), and figure out will it work for my group.

I am blessed but just do your homework on the Internet and you will find something. There are several free sights. I used to have all the links on my old computer but it crashed. Don't forget to google the local papers for the area that you are interested in because that was how I found mine.
