My boy shot his first decent buck this weekend and I don't have freezer space for it at the house. I've had it in a bag on ice in a cooler since saturday and now it's in the outside fridge. My question is will it be OK in the fridge and if so will it be OK until this Friday? Thanks in advance!

No it will spoil if not frozen. -
I would think it would be okay, but I wouldn’t personally let one sit that long.
You could always skin the head yourself, cut the skull cap and freeze the hide.

I'm off on Friday and was going to get it to the taxi then. I tried every way I could to get it in the freezer and it wasn't going. So if I can take it tomorrow eve will it be OK? I"ve got a couple big ice packs I could put udner and on top of it if that will help? ThanksComment

Tomorrow will be fine. Most likely Friday will be fine if it's in a cold fridge. Watch your taxidermist cape it. Pretty simple to learn and very handy.Originally posted by cwill View PostComment
