Bad shots are made on vitals which is a target the size of a dinner plate... Which makes a head shot on a moving target the size of a baseball unethical IMO. Mistakes are going to happen, so as hunters we need to take the route with the highest success rate. That route is not going to be head shots. But we could have this ethics debate about EVERYTHING when it comes to killing something. (Distance, experience level, equipment, etc..)

For that shooter, maybe. For yourself, probably not. Your opinion or practices have zero impact on what the shooter in the picture did, and vice versa.
Why get all bunched up about something you have zero control over? You hunt the way you choose to hunt, and everyone else will do the same, and we will all end up worm food in the end.

that was a field point that they used. you can see the end of the arrow behind the neck of the deer.

Looks like they took the broad head off and there is no tip on the bolt.
