I am so cold natured, I will hunt in my iWOM suit on Saturday, with a low of 36. Basically I will put on my cold gear base layer and my regular hunting long sleeve t-shirt and pants, and possibly a wool vest, and carry the thick socks and everything else. When I arrive at my stand, off come the boots, on go the thick socks, and then all the other layers. Yes, I have to arrive 10 minutes earlier to plan for it, but it's all good.
Last year when I hunted in Ohio, it was 68 degrees at 5 am, and we all knew a cold front was within hours of blowing in with freezing rain and temperatures would drop rapidly. Everyone dressed for the low temp. I couldn't believe it. They were sweating before we even left. I took most of my clothes and stuffed them into a plastic grocery sack. When I arrived at my stand, I buried the sack under a bunch of leaves. When the rain quit 3 hours later, and I was getting cold, I eased down and put on all my dry clothes. I sat all day. Except for my husband, no one else made it past 10 am. When we came in that night, it was 35.
Good luck today. If you shoot one, your cold troubles are over
