short review PSE Xpedite and React: I shot em!

I'll start with the Xpedite. This bow is PSE's newest speed bow. It has an ATA of 33ish inches if I remember correctly and a brace height of 5-1/4". It has the new Evolve cam with the low let off speed mods. The fit and finish was excellent.

I shot the bow at 59.4 pounds with 400 spine arrows. It has a very smooth draw for a bow that IBO's in the 350-360 FPS range. It does have a short valley and is a bow you wouldn't want to shoot on the longer side of your draw length.

It holds remarkably well and doesn't have the feel of a short BH speed bow. At the shot it is very quiet but does produce a bit of hand shock. I installed me 8" Bee Stinger which really toned the feedback down. I think with a good stab and accessories mounted the hand shock woukd be negligible.

What impressed me most about this bow, was how well I could group at 20 yards bare bow. I was instantly shooting about a 4" 5 arrow group where I was looking. I can't do that with every bow I pick up.

As I have aged, I am not the biggest fan of outright speed and short brace height bows. However, I could see owning this bow at 50-55 pounds for ease of draw while still having the speed of higher poundage bows.

Now the React. The React is another 33ish ATA bow with the Evolve cam system. It has an MSRP of $799. It is right between. The Evolve 31 and the Evolve 35. This bow has a forged riser, standard cable rod, and composite limb pockets.

This bow shot fantastic. I actually think it shot better for me than the Evolve 35. It does have a bit of hand shock, but not bad. It has a very smooth draw and is very quiet at the shot. It js a joy to shoot and is a good addition. To the PSE line.

Pros: shoots great, Evolve cam, lots of adjustment, $200 less than the Evolve 35.

Cons: I am not the biggest fan of plastic limb pockets. I have never heard of a PSE plastic pocket failing, but at $800 I think it should have aluminum pockets.

I think they have a great shooter here, but I feel it should be between $600 to $650 on the price.

Hope this helps someone who might not have the chance to shoot them.

That Xpedite is money. Shot it yesterday at Hoffy's archery. It's simply the smoothest speed bow I've every picked up.. I've never been a below 6 inch brace guy but this thing was nothing but incredible. I shot it side by side with my Carbon Air and both set at 65 pounds. It was a nice rig.
