    My feeder is possessed

Ok I have a feeder that is crazy!!! It has a 6 volt solar charger battery has been replaced it has 6 volts as per my meter but the stupid thing barely spins kinda like the battery is dead. So my question is could this be the timer (not allowing enough current to flow through or would it be the motor?

Either dirty or corroded contacts or the motor is failing imo.

Could the motor shaft be seized up? I had one get rusty and wd40 fixed it.

I would vote the motor is your problem.

Dumb post I'm sure but make sure it's not a 12v motor

A 6v panel still should put out ~9 volts in direct sunlight. When you put a fresh battery that you know is charged does it spin fine? If not, then you have a motor that is failing. Most likely got some corn dust in it and it's binding up.

Run the battery directly to the motor and see if the motor spins. Just "bump it".

Shaft probably needs a little WD40.

Yea both batteries had a full charge and I replaced the charger so wd-40 will be the first try before going to town for a new motor..... thanks

Will it fit a 12 volt battery?

Make sure your spinner plate is tight on the motor shaft. I’ve seen that a few times.

That is is what I always do first. The timer is usually the weak link
