    Plumbers question.

Any plumbers in the lavaca county area have a scaner to find a sewer pipe? The plumbers dug up most of the front yard look for original sewer pipe but could not find it. Need to hook up the New house to the city sewer system. The city doesn't know where it's at.

You might be able to rent a sewer camera that has an attachment on the end that emits a signal. You run that down the sewer pipe from the house and walk along the ground outside with the receiver until it pinpoints it. It can even tell you the depth. We rented one a LONG time ago and I cannot remember where.

run sewer machine and plumber can listen for sewer cable or call city to see if they have a locator to tie on to metal cable and trace it out. I take it the city does not have a camera. or you can dowse for it

The city should have a camera to run down there main and should be able to see where your tap is from your lot to the main and your service line should be straight up from that

                Plumbers question.

Service line shouldn't be very deep where it tied into the old house. Shouldn't be that hard to find if there's one there.

Thanks for all the advice. The plumbers dug up more and didn't find it. I'm just gonna get a line put in and done it. We're moving in next weekend so it's got to get done. Everything happens for a reason. New house new sewer line. Good luck this weekend. Get the big one.
