    Gutters- what kind?

I have 3 areas of my house, totaling roughly 70' that needs gutters because it's causing various run off issues or water damage to the house.

What kind of gutters galvanized or vinyl and why? Shape make a difference?

If you get anodized aluminum you can get nearly any color to match your house paint. I don't think the shape makes much of a difference. The crew can roll them out in the street and front of your house and install them. Quick and easy.

I was actually thinking of doing it myself since it's not a lot of linear footage

I have some in front of my house and often wondered why? The rest of the house is fine without them. Do you actually need gutters?

Most builders only do the front for curb appeal. It's a personal preference issue your house won't fall down if you don't have gutters.

I have used 2 or 3 different gutter guys here when I had my remodeling business and on my own home. All were reasonable and did quality work. All were seamless.

                              Yes.

Roof runoff on the front porch is creating mildew stains on the bricks and momma don't like it! And it will save me about a 6'x4' 2" sheet of ice that lasts for days during the winter

Runoff on back porch has ruined a tiled cabinet, replacing doors & tile and I do t want to have to do it again. Runoff falls directly onto the left bricked side and left top surface.

Runoff on the 2nd largest roof surface floods my dogs kennel and she has to wade in water for days and a 1.5" rain nearly floods enough to get into her doghouse which is on high ground and flooring is another 3" above that

I'm not doing this for aesthetic purposes
