Dove hunting- Where did they go?

I have a dove hunting lease in Atascosa county and I went sat morning to get me some doves. Nothing. They were no where to be found. Sat there from 8 am to noon. Anyone having the same problem? Is the evening hunt better?

They are "migratory" birds

I drive 400 miles a day all over deep south tx from 44 south...as of last week, I can say they did not migrate north.

Haven't seen very many around Woodsboro or Blunzer areas. Haven't fired a shotgun all year.

Ive had that problem since dove season started.....until about 10 days ago.
I now have some but nothing like last year

I saw a bunch just north of Charlotte. About two hours before the front came through.

Hundreds up here in ellis county coming in to waterladt 30 minutes of shooting light. Opening weekend i didnt fire a shot, this friday evening i shot more than 4 man limit, still didnt get my limit though.

I've hunted the public lands south of SA since the beginning of the season and I can say that I never had much luck in the morning hours. I start my hunts at about 4 pm till sundown .
