This is close to home for me. Our son had open heart surgery at 3 weeks.

Father God, we come to you, Lord, humble and undeserving. You're an amazing God and father to us. We lift up Gavin in your Son's name. We pray, God, that this is nothing more than an unrelated, brief illness. Father, if it is heart related, guide your doctors' hands, hearts and minds, so that Gavin may be healed, for your glory. Send your angels to protect Gavin and his family. It is in the most powerful, almighty name we pray. The name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayin' in strong agreement with this right here!! Sure hurts when the little ones suffer!! Brings things into real perspective for so many of us tuff old birds!! Just melts my heart... I know mom and dad would gladly swap places whith Gavin if they could... I pray for peace and comfort for them as they lift up their son to The Son for healing. Bathe them Lord in Your lovingkindness and mercy. Give them the Hope that is in Your Son, in His name Jesus, we ask and pray, Amen.
