Season is over ...........for me anyway. I have to work till the 5th! Oh well. I stuffed my freezer. So, now that deer season is about to be over, what hobbies will you pick up? I need ideas!
I seem to always have a few projects at my place that seem to get put off till after deer season..... I also will make a few 3-D shoots in the off season, I also have a lease that has hogs and exotics, that will take up some time as well as making improvements at the lease. We also start our protein feeding in early January and those feeders will need to be filled every other month... I tend to always try to spend as much family time as I can in the off season, we have a couple trips planned, one to the Frio and also a spring break trip in the works..... Thats about all I can find time for....
Hope to get back into 3-d this year, I have been working so much the last three years I have not had time for much of anything else, Looks like it will be a slow year at the plant so maybe I can get back to playing on weekends
Ducks til the end of January then some much needed rest.......spring crappie fishin' mid Feb through May.......and turkey season sprinkled in that crappie fishin.....
3D archery. We start our ASA season in February and it goes thru July. Nine state qualifiers and the state championship. There are club shoots every weekend from January to September. We are shooting our bows at something 12 months out of the year.
I don't understand guys putting up their bows after deer season. Get out there and make archery a year round sport.
