My Ranch is in Briscoe. We seen a pretty good drop in Mulie Activity in general the last 2-3years. Our places is half Canyon half field. Thinking maybe the winter wheat coming in will help but feeders have been VERY slow. Lots of pigs and Auodad though.

Anybody have anything to report? I’ll be in Motley county Thursday night through Monday. Curious how this cold front is going to effect movement.

Not there currently but I'm headed to Matador Friday-sometime next week as well. Cold front hopefully gets them on their feet.

I have hunted the first week on December on the Motley /Cottle county line for the last 3 years.

Whitetails seem to be in the "lock down" part of the rut at this time every year.

This year we saw more muleys than ever, and whitetail numbers seem to be down.

Whitetail antler growth is down from the drought earier in the year. Good rainfall since August has them un-interestd in corn. It must have been a good year for shin oak acorns as well.
