I might have had 4 redheads in my spread today and shot limits of redheads.

@Fargus unless your pulling a boat I wouldn't worry about decoys, majority of the guys hauling have plenty of decoys and it makes keeping who has what to a minimum

I’ve got some redheads I’ll be bringing- of all things I shot a limit of 5 green wing teal drakes and a gadwall this morning in Meridian.

I know a lot of people say this but one of these years I'd like to make this. I don't have a boat but I'll pull whatever weight I can.

Understandable, usually buying fuel for the boat, or bringing fixin's for fajitas is appreciated

One of my favorite places to be at that time of day, but usually I am knee deep throwing a topwater.

                    Good luck this morning

Would have loved to have gotten in on this hunt. Still haven’t duck hunted in Texas this year. Caught a couple hunts in Illinois in November. Been busy with the kid and work but actually have that weekend free haha. Good luck to y’all.

Items to bring for WORP (UPDATED)

Figured I would combine (and categorize) the lists since I thought of a few more items...

                        Hunting Stuff:
                        - Valid hunting license with duck stamp

                        - Shot gun that has the plug in it only allowing for 3 shots total

                        - Steel shot 3 inch or 3.5 inch #1,2,or 3 shot

                        - Shell bag

                        - A chair to sit in sand/mud on the banks behind mangroves. (Swamp stools work great if you have one)

                        - Waders and possibly cold weather cloths

                        - Flashlight or Headlight is better (put fresh batteries in it / bring extras)

                        - Bug spray

                        - Gun Oil

                        House Stuff
                        - A chair to sit outside around house to visit

                        - Cell Phone Charger with wall plug

                        - Shower stuff ( soap & shampoo), toothbrush, deodorant, probably an extra towel

                        - Extra pillow/blanket if you like to be bundled up. All beds are furnished with this stuff though.

                        - Cooler for drinks (fridge in barndo usually full of meat to cook) - don’t forget the drinks

                        - Snacks and other meals – breakfast / lunch

                        - Ziplock bags for meat

                        - One night we cook fajitas, the other night we cook whatever ( usually everybody brings some sort of meat to throw on pit)

                        Stories to tell

Extra money - boat gas, snacks, odds and ins and whatnot

Also, the guys coming Thursday night, we will split up the cost of house once we are down there (depends on how many show up) the deposit covers Friday and Saturday night .

Still have to put a WORP logo on it, and a couple more to work on
