I have a trolling motor that the board is burnt up and was wanting to build me a new one.

I have refurbished a bad trolling motor by cutting the shaft and bypassing the bad head straight to battery. This will of course just do max speed once turned on.

I had one that the selector switch went out on. Bought a few heavy duty switches from Ebay and have fwd/rev & 2 speeds (3&5 I think). Hardest part was figuring the wiring out.

Used a gray junction box to hold switches. Looks goofy, but saved some money.
