my daughter's 11 month old gsp grazed a tree yesterday eve full speed while chasing a squirrel. as of this am he couldn't put weight on his front r leg. vet appmnt @ 11. nothing obvious visually, but he stayed up every min last night wimpering. seems to have hit his shoulder, if I touch it, he gets jumpy. what can I expect? x-rays, a bill, then advice to rest him?

The vet will tell you all kinds of stuff, he will probably be fine in a few days. Give him some children's aspirin and watch him.
